Information on credit terms

Since the blossoming of the internet, many services have become web-based. Just look at banking, for example. You can now log into your bank account and pay bills, transfer money, and many other things. Well, now people are finding out that covering emergency expenses via a cash advance has now become part of the internet world as well. No longer do you have to go down to the gritty part of town and stand in line for a cash advance. You can apply for a cash advance from any computer that has internet access.

Forget borrowing from your family or friends, that’s uncomfortable and perhaps not even possible these days. The bad economy has affected everyone, and nobody has as much money to lend now. When you need fast cash, a simple fee of $15 per $100 borrowed and up to one business day to wait for the loan deposit are all you need to cover those cash flow problems that everyone encounters from time to time.

Staying Afloat with a Faxless Payday Loan

A Faxless Payday Loan Keeps You Going

A faxless payday loan is your lifeboat when there’s nowhere else to turn for immediate cash. The river of debt that flows around us is getting deeper and deeper for so many Americans these days, often through no fault of their own. The entire US economy is suffering, after all, and the affects us all. We do anything we can to hold on until better times, calmer waters. Some aspects of life just have to keep rolling, like keeping your car running so you can get to your job. Like paying medical expenses so you can stay healthy. Like keeping your utilities running so you can live your life and stay comfortable. Like keeping your credit card payments up to date so you have credit. All these situations come with bills that need to be paid on time.

Consider the Alternative

Let any one of these budget items fall behind, and your money problems will multiply. Stay current, stay afloat with a faxless payday loan from X9A. With an average low fee of just $15 per $100 borrowed, keep late fees, higher interest rates, turnoff fees and bad credit at bay with a faxless payday loan. It’s a short term loan to cover something unexpected, which you can pay back when you get your next paycheck. A faxless payday loan will keep your electricity on. It will help you avoid those $35 (and up!) credit card late fees. A faxless payday loan will get your car fixed on time so you can get to work. It will help you with whatever emergency cash needs you have, until your next paycheck. The alternative is costly and far-reaching if it affects your credit. A faxless payday loan will not affect your credit score, and you will remain in good standing with your creditors so you can stay afloat in tough times.

Giving a tough fight to collection agencies

February 1st, 2008

“Some debt collection agency in Georgia keeps calling me at the worst possible times…….early morning, dinner time or even in the Sunday mornings. They are looking for somebody named Jenny at my phone number. I do not have any idea who this Jenny is. They have the wrong number. I have told them multiple times that no one named Jenny stays here or used to stay here and guys you have the wrong number. But they won’t listen and keep calling me (obviously they think that I’m lying). How do I get them to stop calling me?”

As per the recent statistics, the number of complaints received by FTC in relation to collection agencies has increased to 69,204 in 2006, from 66,672 in 2005, a 3.8% increase. Although the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act is in place to regulate debt collection activities and behavior but most of the collection agencies DO NOT abide by those laws. They use unethical tactics to terrorize innocent consumers into paying debts that they do not even owe. Intimidation, using false pretenses and all kinds of manipulative means that are present under the sun are implemented by the debt collectors to ensure quick and efficient payments. And in most of the cases the collection agencies become successful because the consumers are unaware of the laws protecting them. Thus, it is a prerequisite for all the consumers to know what rights they are entitled to under the FDCPA.

Did you know that FDCPA prohibits a bill collector who works for a collection agency to call you before 8 am or after 9 pm? The law also bars them from
• calling you at work
• letting your employer and colleagues know about your debt, contacting your friends and family members and harassing them using abusive language, racial slurs or threats.
• making false representations or misleading statements or adding unauthorized charges then it

Under the FDCPA, you have the right to stop the collection agency from contacting you and intimidating you? Yes, the defense is cease and desist letter, send it via certified mail with a RRR. After receiving a cease and desist letter from you, the collection agency can contact you only once to notify you their actions: they will either tell you that they will stop making further attempts to contact you or that they are intending to take legal actions against you. However, if the CND does not work and you are still receiving annoying collection calls and harassing letter then you must file a complaint with FTC and BBB.

Gifts To Share On This Christmas

December 21st, 2007

Christmas is around and with it has come the season of fun, party, excitement, loads of shopping and yes the gift frenzy! But the gift frenzy can become quite a nerve wracking stuff if you are on a tight budget. But guys don’t panic! Here I’m to pass on a few frugal ideas for Christmas gifts. If you’re a bit short of cash, or would like to shift away from the store bought gifts with outrageous price tags then why don’t you try out some of these random ideas:

1. Bake some Christmas gifts –This Christmas hone up your baking skills. Get hold of the old recipes and treat all the folks who are close to your heart with some of the delicious cookies and cakes. Start collecting Christmas tins and baskets from the garage sales or thrift stores for under $1. You can also place the cookies in Jumbo coffee cans covered with colorful paper.

2. Craft work by kids – When a gift is hand made, you can be assured that it is going to be treasured for life time! So, why not frame some of the craft work made by your kids for the grandparents.

3. Memoirs – We all have stacks of photos so why don’t we do something creative with them. Take some of the photos that are close to your heart and frame them for your relatives. You can create a small photo album. Place the snaps on the left side of each page each page and on the facing page write something about the snap that makes it special!

4. Creative gifts – If you are a kind of a person who likes to pen down poems then what are you waiting for! Jot down your feelings and frame it, trust me it would be cherished for years to come by the recipient.

If you can add some more gift ideas to the list….please feel free to comment

Tackling the Christmas debt hangover

December 11th, 2007

Excessive shopping, purchasing gifts for the entire family, acquaintances and friends, eating out and partying…. everything that makes the Christmas season so brighter can actually end up making a big hole in your pocket. Mounting credit card bills and accumulating interest rates wipe away the smiles soon as you waddle to get back your out of control finances in control!

I have penned down some suggestions that may help you to regain balance into your financial as well as personal life. So settle in and sneak a peep.

• The first thing to do when you are knee deep in debt is to face the music. As the post-Christmas credit card bills come rolling in, take stock of the situation. You can draw a table with fields like how many credit cards you have, name of each card, balance on each account, payment due day, the percentage rates for each card, minimum due as well as the APR and reward points earned. Never ignore your debts, as it won’t help you in the long run. So, assess your situation and get in touch with your creditors and explain them your difficulties.

Set up a detailed personal budget in order to assess the true state of your finances. Identify each and every source of income you have. Then, include all your expenses. Include the periodic expenses too, such as taxes or the insurance premiums that you may not think about every day. Try making realistic targets, the ones you can implement. Don’t forget to budget for the unexpected things in life…so an emergency fund is a must. An emergency fund should equal to almost three to six months worth of your basic living expenses….and if you don’t have such a fund then you re surely living on the edge.

• Once you have allocated money to your emergency savings, move on to tackle your priority debts first. From your lined up bills, get hold of the debt that has the highest interest rate. As interest gets accrued pretty fast so try to get rid of the highest rated debt first. Keep making payments for the debt month to month; once you’re done, head towards the next highest interest rate account.

Paying off your debts is certainly not an easy thing to do but is not unattainable too. If you have discipline, consistency, and patience then it isn’t impossible to say bye bye to all those stacking bills .

Plastic Money has Variety

November 6th, 2007

Daily life spins on plastic money. Credit cards cannot be done with. Here is some information about the different types of them available. Choice will remain yours as per the requirement.

My preference goes to the Standard Credit Cards:

I have known these cards as unsecured credit cards which are easily available. This is mainly available in two forms:
The Balance Transfer Credit cards allows transfer of balance from a high percentage APR to a lower APR card.
The Low Interest Credit Cards have a prefatory low APR which changes to a high one in say e.g. 6 months. So the advantage being that during a particular period of time the card can be used with a low rate of interest as payment.

Then there are the cards with Reward Programs:

I have enjoyed incentives and offers that were available on these cards. Commonly you will find the cash back reward, miles that can be utilized for travel. Retail store cards earn you points and purchases can be made on them as well.

There are the cards for people with Bad Credit:

As far as I have seen there are many whose credit suffers due to the financial fall. Who said they don’t have the option of credit cards? There are the secured credit cards, prepaid credit cards that you can use in case you are facing financial crisis and want to repair credit.

Of course last but not the least there are the Specialty Credit Cards:

Student credit cards, Business credit cards are there which have benefits pertaining to the criteria they belong to. The business credit cards are pretty like the traditional credit cards but there are the special benefits like the additional employee cards, higher credit limits, special business rewards attached to it. While students struggle to establish a credit history as majority does not have any, they have the student credit cards available easily.

Checking on Credit Bureaus

September 12th, 2007

Eric was not on a mission but he had this feeling in him that his financial life was at stake. Bringing it back to the track needed some extra effort. After finding out the basic things that he had to do Eric was surprised that it was just so easy.

Good job, young age, wanting to settle down, requirement of a home was the first thing on mind. Tiara was more than eager to marry. Eric applied for loan but was rejected. Now it struck him that there must be a reason behind it. So he requested free credit reports online from all the three agencies Equifax, TransUnion and Experian. All he did was used the centralized source www.annualcreditreport.com because he could not get through the number 877-322-8228 which is of course another option for requesting credit reports. Government made it easy in 2004 when the federal law made each individual entitled to one free credit report from all the three credit bureaus annually.

Once he got hold of the reports he knew what was wrong. He had to deal with collection agencies but that is another long story. Today Eric has an improved score and of course a house. Married with Tiara, there is a long way to go Eric.
